Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, whether you’re facing a specific challenge, feeling stuck, or simply curious about understanding yourself more deeply. My aim is to offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever is on your mind, at your own pace.

My Approach: Psychodynamic Therapy

I am trained in psychodynamic therapy, a collaborative approach that helps us understand how past experiences and unconscious patterns can shape our present feelings, relationships, and behaviours. Together, we will work to uncover the roots of difficult emotions or repeating patterns, so you can gain greater self-awareness and make meaningful changes in your life.

My practice is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. I believe that therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about supporting you to find clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of self.

My Professional Background

MSc, PGDip & Registered Member MBACP (Accred)

I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred.). My experience includes working with adults and couples from diverse backgrounds, supporting issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, intimacy and sexual concerns, bereavement, and life transitions.

I undertake regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standards of ethical and effective practice.

A Little About Me

Clients often find it reassuring to know a little about the person they’ll be working with. Outside of my practice, I am passionate about art, my family and spending time in nature, especially tending to my collection of plants. I believe in balancing professional commitment with creativity and self-care, values I encourage in those I work with.

Relationships

A THEME THAT ECHOES
Two face profiles emerging from tree silhouettes in a misty forest.

A theme that has echoed again and again through the heart of my work with people, is the theme of relationship. Whether regarding a couple, or family member, work colleague or friend, difficulties in negotiating satisfying relationships are a central concern. I believe that how we connect with others in our relationships profoundly impacts the quality of our lives, and so was motivated to further my professional development by training in couple counselling & psychotherapy and psychosexual therapy at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships.
